Answers to common queires

We work on most vehicles. We do not service FIAT, SAAB, PORCHE, or Hybrids.

No, this is a very specialized vehicle. You should go back to the dealer for service.

No. Any licensed motor shop can do your regular maintenance.

It’s very important to do recommended major service intervals at 15K, 30K, 60K and 90K.

Parts and labor typically have a 90-day warranty, with 1-year and 2-year warranties available, depending on the service.

It is always a good idea to bring the car in to be inspected so that we can give you not only accurate pricing, but also to ensure that we are addressing the complete problem.

We recommend following your car’s service manual schedule. Having said that, typically transmission service should occur every 30K miles.

If it is a major repair, we offer free towing within 25 miles of our location.

Typically, it takes 2-3 days to rebuild a transmission, but that entirely depends on the car make, model and extent of repair.

You should pay attention to your check engine light going on, delays in shifting gears, and loss of power on acceleration. These are all symptoms of possible transmission trouble.

Oil changes should be done every 3,000-4,000 miles, or the manufacturer’s recommended schedule (see your manual). However, if you don’t drive your car a lot (under 12,000 miles per year), you should have your oil changed 3 times a year, regardless of mileage.

Typically, an oil change takes about 45 minutes.
